Timeless Records

Timeless Records is a Dutch jazz record label that was founded in 1975.

Timeless Records was founded in Wageningen in 1975 by Wim Wigt impresario. It specializes in modern jazz, but also has recordings of Dixieland jazz to swing in the program. Timeless Records, which also includes the sub-label Limetree Records and World Wide Jazz, also distributes the music of numerous small labels like Archeophone Records, Jazz Oracle, Little Beat Records, Sunny and upbeat.

The record label released recordings of the Timeless All Stars, a loose composite Jazz band, the Harold Land, Curtis Fuller, Bobby Hutcherson, Cedar Walton, Buster Williams and Billy Higgins belonged. This group also took 1982/83 on several albums for the label and toured regularly in Europe.

Timeless Records released music by American musicians such as George Adams, Chet Baker, Art Blakey, Kenny Drew Sr., Bill Evans, Tommy Flanagan, Don Friedman, Lionel Hampton, Peanuts Hucko, Hank Jones, Kirk Lightsey, Pharoah Sanders, Archie Shepp, McCoy Tyner ( Bon Voyage, 1987), Cedar Walton, Ben Webster and Jessica Williams.

On Timeless also recordings of European musicians such as the Dutch Swing College Band, Acker Bilk, Chris Barber, Urs Leimgruber, Tete Montoliu, Philip Catherine, Eugen Cicero and Dutch musicians such as Rein de Graaff, Gijs Hendriks, Rob van den Broeck, Maarten appeared, van Norden, Harry Verbeke, Steve Houben, Huub Janssen and Diederik Wissel.
