Timmy T
Timothy Torres, artist name, Timmy T, ( born September 21, 1967 in Fresno, California) is an American freestyle artists and musicians. Best known is his number 1 hit single One More Try from the year 1991.
After Torres in the 1980s was a member of some small rap groups in Fresno, he turned to dance music. His first play, Time After Time, was so successful that he got a record deal with Quality Records. Time After Time went into the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and was number 1 on the Billboard Dance singles charts.
The end of 1990 Timmy T took on the single One More Try, which sold over a million times and reached the top of the Billboard charts of 1991. This is followed by the release of the first album Time After Time followed, which in addition to the title track, the songs What Will I Do, One More Try and Over and Over contained. The follow-up album All for Love reached the charts with any song.
In the 1990s, Timmy T has toured the world and was a guest on various TV shows.
