Timo Maas

Timo Maas ( born July 27, 1969 in Biickeburg ) is a techno and house DJ from Biickeburg in Hannover ( Germany ). In collaboration with various producers, he has worked as a music producer.

Biography

In 1983 Maas collected first experiences as a DJ. The Acid House wave to 1987, the number of electronic records removed in its collection to continuously and Maas was a member of the DMC ( "Disco Mix Club" ). Until 1993, he joined various clubs and discos on in northern Germany.

The development of dancefloor sounds displeased Timo Maas and so he decided in 1993 to take up exclusively techno records in his sets. In late 1994 he gave up his civilian job and was a resident DJ in Hamburg tunnel.

More productions and remixes followed including for Madonna ( " Do not Tell Me " ), Depeche Mode, etc. As the first major international success counts his remix of " Dooms Night" by Azzido da Bass from the year 2000. success with the first own albums Loud and Pictures stood one. The singles " To Get Down", "Help Me " (with Kelis ), and "First Day" reached ( with Brian Molko ) top rankings in the German and the foreign charts.
