Timo Ochs ( born October 17, 1981 in Göttingen ) is a German football goalkeeper.
Career
He began his career at SC Weende, for whom he played until 1996. He then moved to Hannover 96, where, however, he did not make the jump to the goalkeeper in the senior squad. He joined the 2003/04 season to the second division VfL Osnabrück Up, in which he took the place of Sven Scheuer soon. Although the team relegated, he belonged to many observers to be the best goalkeepers in the second division season, so it could not keep Osnabrück and he moved to TSV 1860 Munich.
There Ochs initially sat on the bench and took a few games for the second team of the club in the Regionalliga Süd. Penalty he scored on the 19th Round 2004/ 05 in a 4-0 against FC Nöttingen even a hit. In early 2005 he was goalkeeper at the 1860 Munich after an injury by Michael Hofmann. From the fans, he was elected "Lion of the Year" ( most popular player) 2005.
In June 2006, Timo Ochs switched to Red Bull Salzburg and in 2007 and 2009 Austrian champion. Until his injury in December 2008, he was first-choice goalkeeper. At the end of the season 2008/ 09, the contract was not renewed with ox.
In September 2009, Bundesliga club Hertha BSC Ochs committed. He signed a one year contract and should be used first for the injured goalkeeper Jaroslav Drobný. On 27 September 2009 he gave on Matchday 7 of the season his debut for Hertha BSC in the away match against TSG Hoffenheim. On the 8th matchday Ochs moved in the match against Hamburger SV to a hamstring injury and was replaced in the 33rd minute. At the end of the season he joined Hertha the way to the second division at, received for the season 2010/11 a new contract and was initially without a club.
On January 23, 2013 Ochs moved within the League 2 for SSV Jahn Regensburg. He signed a contract until the end of the season.
For the 2013/14 season Ochs moved to 1.FC Saarbrücken.

Private
Ochs has been married since the summer of 2007 and in July 2009 was father of a son. In March 2013 he became a father of a daughter. He closed in mid-2005 successfully a correspondence course in the subject Sport Management (Diploma ) from 2010 and was successful in the field of study Sports Marketing ( Diploma) tested.
