Timo Rautiainen

Timo Aulis Rautiainen ( born January 25, 1963 in Sulkava ) is a Finnish singer and guitarist. He is one of the most successful Finnish musicians.

Life

Timo Rautiainen is one of the pioneers of Finnish Heavy Metal scene. In 1981 he was one of the founding members of Heavy / Doom Metal band Lyijykomppania (Finnish: , lead company '). To have something published without the band broke up two years later. In 1990, the band reformed in the same occupation. By the second resolution 1996, the band released three studio albums. The second reunion was held in 2003 without Rautiainen instead.

In 1996, Timo Rautiainen the band Rautiainen ja Trio Niskalaukaus (Finnish: Timo Rautiainen and Trio shot in the neck ). The band released Heavy Metal with Finnish lyrics in the charts. All of the band's albums have been awarded platinum in Finland. 2001 and 2004, the band released two albums in which selected songs with German lyrics were recited. With these albums the band in German-speaking countries achieved some notable successes, and went with HIM and Nightwish on tour in Germany. End of 2004, the band announced a break indefinitely. On 1 November 2006, the band announced their dissolution.

In the meantime, Rautiainen started his solo career. With Jarkko Petosalmi and Nils Ursin two members of the trio Niskalaukaus belong to his solo band. On 26 April 2006, the debut album was released Sarvivuori. As a guest musician appeared on Tuomas Holopainen ( Nightwish ) and Alexander Kuoppala (ex - Children of Bodom ). Sarvivuori reached number two on the Finnish album charts and threw three Top 20 singles from where Punainen Viiva three weeks graced the top of the singles charts.

On 23 May 2007, the second studio album Loppun ajettu appears. The advance single from the Outolintu reached number three on the Finnish single charts.
