Timo Zahnleiter
Hans -Dieter " Timo " Zahnleiter (born 16 December 1948 in Mannheim ) is a former German football player and current coach.
Zahnleiter played from 1967 to 1971 VfR Mannheim (Regionalliga Süd), 1971-1974 TSV 1860 München, 1974-1977 at AEK Athens in Greece, 1978/79 VfR Buerstadt and 1979-1981 for Wormatia Worms in the 2. Bundesliga.
His coaching career began in 1982/83 at the Olympics Lampert home. 1983/84 he had at SV Darmstadt 98 in the second league his first coaching job in the professional sector. He then entered the 1984/85 season assistant coach at FC Cologne 1. From 1985 to 1989 he was an assistant coach at Eintracht Frankfurt. In the second half of the 1986/87 season he was head coach at Eintracht Frankfurt, which remained his only job as a head coach in the Bundesliga. After a short engagement at Energie Cottbus, he returned to the Oberliga Hessen, where he worked at VfB Marburg, SV Wiesbaden and Red-White Walldorf. It was followed by engagements in Greece between 1995 and 2000 (PAS Iannina, Ethnikos Piraeus, Ethnikos Asteras and Anagennisi Karditsa ).
