Timothy Radcliffe

Timothy Radcliffe OP ( * 1945 in London ) is a Roman Catholic priest and member of the Dominican Order. He is a member of the English Dominican Province. He was Master of the Order ( Superior General ) of the Dominican Order from 1992 to 2001.

Radcliffe is the only member of the English Province of the Order, which held this post since the foundation of the Order in 1216. Before he was Grand Master of the Order, he was Provincial of the Dominicans in England. He is a member of the Dominican Friary Blackfriars in Oxford, professor of theology and a respected and sought-after author and speaker.
