History

The first tin toys in Germany was probably produced in the 19th century by the Swabian manufacturer Rock & Graner, first in manufactories, from about 1890 in industrial mass production. The German products were for some time a worldwide bestseller, Nuremberg 's leading manufacturing base. That changed in the 50s when Japan was the German competition behind.
