Tina Barney

Tina Barney ( b. 1945, New York City ) is an American photographer who is known for her large- format portraits of family and friends as well as the well-off population of New York and New England.

Work

Tina Barney began in 1971 with the development of its own photographic collection and also to photograph himself soon. Her works are in prestigious collections such as the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the George Eastman House, Rochester, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and the Museum Folkwang in Essen.

Barney who also directed and co- directed films about the photographers Horst P. Horst and Jan Groover.
