Tina Nordlund

Tina Nordlund ( born March 19, 1977) is a former Swedish football player.

Career

Nordlund played from 1996 to 2002 for Umeå IK damfotboll in the Damallsvenskan. Between 2000 and 2002, she was three times Swedish champion and 2000 was awarded the Diamond Bollen as the best footballer in Sweden. During the season of 2002, she ended her career as she developed anorexia nervosa.

Nordlund played 43 times for the Swedish national team. At the European Championships in 2001 she won the national selection with the silver medal.

In 2006, she published with the support of sports journalists Simon bank under the title "Genome Helvetet: om fotboll, kärlek och anorexi " an autobiography.
