Tinder (application software)

Tinder (German scale) is a dating app that has the objective to facilitate users getting to know people in the vicinity. It is used both to initiate flirtations and friendships for socializing used.

Tinder - accounts can be created only with a Facebook profile. Tinder uses the first name and age of the user profile as an indication and selects five of the user's photos as a profile photo. The photos can be selected individually, but must be present on the Facebook profile. In addition, users can describe themselves individually with a set. Tinder used in addition to the " Like" information and friendship lists of users, in order to show similarities between two people.

Using the App

Tinder presented to the user in each case the profile photos, first name and age of another person who was last logged in a previously user-specified radius. Based on this limited information - usually only after looking at the first photo - the user decides whether he would be interested in a conversation with that person. History

Tinder was first published on the campus of the University of Southern California. Sixty percent of users use it every day, the majority of users even five to six times daily.

Special

Using the Facebook profile Tinder receives the basic information about the user and analyzing its information to optimize the persons proposals. A special role is played by the geographical location, the number of common friends and common interests.

It was only after both users have classified as attractive, they can chat with each other. In this way, users have control over who is allowed to write to them and are not confronted with messages from people who have not considered attractive before. Despite the link with Facebook acts are not reported within Tinder on the Facebook profile of the user ( this is also not voluntarily possible).

With Tinders Matchmaker feature, users can establish a connection between two of their Facebook friends without having seen this all their information.

Tinder is currently available on iOS and Android devices - a Windows Phone version is in development

User

Tinders target group are women and men between 18 and 35 years.

According to one study, only about 20 percent of the Tinder - users have met a person that they originally met at Tinder. With other digital dating services that share is about 66 percent.
