Tino Edelmann

Tino Edelmann ( born April 13, 1985 in Annaberg -Buchholz ) is a German nordic combined, which to date has won seven medals at major events.

Career

Edelmann starts for the SC motor Zella- Mehlis. He won at the Junior World Championships in individual events three silver and one bronze, as well as three gold medals and one silver medal with the team. Among 2002 together with Florian Schillinger, Christian Beetz and Björn Kircheisen and 2003 together with Marco Kühne, Beetz and Kirch iron,

Edelmann 2005 was a member of the German team at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf, where the sprint he achieved his best result at rank 18. After a weaker 2005/2006 season he dismounted in the B World Cup, but he dominated the beginning of the 2006/2007 season, which earned him the chances of promotion. In the Nordic World Ski Championships in Sapporo 2007, he won the team silver medal in the relay. In December 2007, he celebrated in Ramsau his first podium in third place in the sprint competition.

On 3 January 2009, Edelmann was the first time winner in a World Cup competition in the team competition in Schonach. At the 2009 World Championships in Liberec he achieved on 20 February 2009 at the inaugural mass start competition in second place. On December 6, 2009 in Lillehammer, he scored the first victory in a World Cup individual competition. In the overall standings, he reached the fifth rank in this season his best placement. He won 6 December 2009 competition in Lillehammer. With the team he was victorious on January 24, 2010 in Schonach. At the Olympic Games 2010 in Vancouver Edelmann won together with Björn Kircheisen, Eric Frenzel and John Rydzek the bronze medal in the team competition - although he just jumped a narrow width and rushed over.

26 February 2011 Tino Edelmann celebrated at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in the victory of his teammate Eric Frenzel his second individual silver medal, as in the sprint finish his rival Felix Gottwald crashed. Two days later he became Vice World Champion with the German 4 × 5 km relay. In the following two winters nobleman was next to some podium two more individual World Cup victories on November 26, 2011 in Kuusamo and on January 12, 2013 recorded in Chaux -Neuve.

On January 12, 2014 he won with Fabian Rießle the Team Sprint in Chaux- Neuve and on January 15, 2014, he was part of the winning team in Oberstdorf. At the Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi nobleman occupied by the normal hill in ninth place. In the second individual and team competition, he was not used.
