Tintange

Tintange ( German ( obsolete): Tintingen, Luxembourgish: antennas, Walloon Tîtindje ) is a village and a municipality part of the Belgian municipality in the province of Luxembourg Fauvillers in Wallonia.

Tintange is located on the N4 road between Bastogne and Marte Lange in a wooded area between the valleys of the Sauer, the Surbachs and Molscht.

History

Earlier spellings: Tintingen ( 1468 ), Tintenge (1688 ).

1823: Merger with the community Warnach.

1977: the merger of Belgian municipalities Tintange is a borough of Fauvillers.
