Tintinnabulum

The Tintinnabulum is in a gilt frame mounted on a support rod small liturgical bell and is next to the Padiglione ( often referred to as Conopeum ), a yellow- red striped cone-shaped silk shade, one of the traditional trappings of a minor basilica. The Tintinnabulum is carried in front of the Conopeum in processions, where it is used for announcement of the Blessed Sacrament in solemn worship it says on the Epistle side.

Another notation is Cincinabulum.
