Elton Elwin " Tiny" Feather ( born February 23, 1902 in Culver, Kansas, USA, † July 15, 1965 ) was a U.S. American football player. He played in the National Football League ( NFL ) for the Cleveland Bulldogs, Detroit Wolverines, the New York Giants, the Staten Iceland Stapleton and the Cincinnati Reds.

Playing career

Tiny Feather was born in 1902 as son of John Frank Feather and Alice Lousie Chapin. He studied from 1924 to 1926 at Kansas State University and played for their football team, the "Kansas State Wildcats ," as a running back and blocking back. Because of his athletic achievements, he was honored by his college in all three years of study.

In 1927 Feather was a professional player in the Cleveland Bulldogs. After his rookie year game in just one year the existing team from Cleveland Feather moved to the Detroit Wolverines. Feather scored the Mannschaftsbestwert seven touchdowns for the team from Detroit in the season 1928. The Wolverines presented after one year the operation of gambling. Together with his teammate Benny Friedman, he moved in 1929 to the New York Giants. The team in 1929 and 1930 NFL runner-up in the years.

After two years in New York City to Feather joined the Staten Iceland Stapleton, but returned at the end of the season in 1931 back to the Giants. 1932 Steve Owen took over as coach for the Giants. He led the team by Feather in 1933 in the NFL playoff against the Chicago Bears. The coached by George Halas Chicago Team sat down with just by 23:21. After one last year at the Cincinnati Reds game Feather finished his career in 1934.
