Tioga County (Pennsylvania)
Tioga County is a county located in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States. In the 2000 census, the county had 41.373 inhabitants and a population density of 14 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Wellsboro.
History
The county was formed on March 26, 1804 Lycoming County and named for the Tioga River.
Geography
The county has an area of 2,946 square kilometers, of which 9 square kilometers of water are.
