Tiptoes (alternatively: Tiptoes - (not ) on the Size Matters ) is an American- French comedy film directed by Matthew Bright made in 2003.
Action
Artist Carol falls in love with Steven Bedalia with which they contract. She becomes pregnant by him. Bedalia reveals to her that his whole family was dwarfed; he was the only one who reached the usual size of a human. Even his twin brother Rolfe was dwarfed.
Carol nevertheless decides to have the baby. She learns by Rolfe about the lives of people of small stature, sometimes she is in love with Rolfe.
Reviews
Lisa Nesselson praised in the journal Variety of 24 September 2003 the presentation by Gary Oldman. The film deal with too many issues and was a " honorable failure" ( "honorable failure" ).
The lexicon of international film wrote that the " melodramatic " movie was indeed "weaknesses", but he think " solid" and sat down for " social outsiders " one. The representations were praised as "convincing ".

The film was shot in Los Angeles. Its world premiere took place on 8 September 2003 on the French town of Deauville film festival.
