Tiridates III of Parthia

Tiridates III. was a counter- Parthian king who ruled AD 35 to AD 36.

Tiridates was 10 BC given with three of his brothers from his father Phraates IV in Roman custody. He also lived in Rome, as opposition forces in Persia to Abdagaeses and his son Sinnaces antrugen him the crown as a counter- king Artabanus II. Lucius Vitellius Tiridates then led to Parthia, where Artabanus initially fled to Hyrcanian before him. However, when he returned with Scythian auxiliaries to Tiridates had his hand withdraw into Roman Syria.
