Tiste is a municipality in the district of Rotenburg in Sittingbourne (Wümme ) in Lower Saxony.

Culture and sights

In Tiste there is a historic narrow-gauge railway, which was formerly used for the transportation of the excavated peat. Today, the possibility exists to make visitors rides in the nature reserve.

Sports

The TuS Tiste of 1923 eV offers, among other things, football, table tennis and a large gym department. The association has over 450 members.
