Tita

Milton Queiroz da Paixão, called Tita ( born April 1, 1958 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a former Brazilian football player and current coach.

Tita began his career in 1977 with CR Flamengo. With the club, the striker in the years 1980, 1982 and 1983 Brazilian football champion, won in 1981 and 1983, the Copa Libertadores and the 1981 World Cup. In 1983, he starred with Flamengo in the Brazilian first division side still Gremio, Internacional and CR Vasco da Gama. He played as a striker.

In 1987, he was brought by Bayer 04 Leverkusen to Europe. In the 1987/88 season Tita scored in 21 matches in the German Bundesliga ten goals. With the Leverkusen he won the 1988 UEFA Cup. He then moved to Italy to Pescara Calcio, where he 1988/89, scoring nine goals in the Serie A season. Nevertheless Pescara dismounted to Serie B and Tita came back to Brazil in 1989, where he met the CR Vasco da Gama won the league title this season. He then moved to Mexico for Club León. In 1992, he won the Mexican championship with the club. Tita played a few years in Mexico, before he moved to Guatemala for the 1997/98 season. After winning the Guatemalan league title with Comunicaciones, he finished his career in 1998.

Tita completed 31 games for the Brazilian national football team, was in the squad for the Mundialito 1980, the Copa América in 1989 and he took part in the Football World Cup 1990. With Brazil, he won the 1989 Copa América.

After his playing career, he joined a coaching career that took him in the Japanese J-League, among others. During the football World Cup in 2006, he assisted Japan coach Zico. Since November, he coached the Mexican club Leon, with whom he had played actively in the 1990s already own
