Titan Airways

Titan Airways is a British charter airline based in London and based on the London Stansted Airport.

History

Titan Airways was founded in January 1988 and started operations on 1 February 1988. It was named after the first machine used, a Cessna 406 Titan. In February 1992 there was a management buy -out. Owner of the company today are Gene Wilson ( 67%) and the investment company 3i ( 33%).

Destinations

Titan Airways itself offers no scheduled flights but is principally engaged in scheduled air transport, such as ad - hoc passenger and cargo charter flights, short-term wet-lease flights to other airlines ( such as Air Berlin, British Airways, Monarch Airlines and easyJet ) and VIP charter operates.
