Titan Cement

Titan Cement is a Greek company based in Athens. He is one of the largest aggregates and cement manufacturers worldwide. The cement production of the company is in Greece 6 million tons ( which corresponds to a market share of 40 %), but the largest production abroad. The turnover in 2007 amounted to € 1.497 billion. The company is listed on the Athens Stock Exchange in Athex Composite Share Price Index.

History

The TITAN Cement was founded in 1902 and is traded on the Athens Stock Exchange since 1912. In 1999 a joint venture with Lafarge was started in 2000 Tarmac Inc. was acquired. Worldwide maintains Titan 11 cement plants, of which 4 in Greece, 2 in the United States (Virginia and Florida), 3 in South East Europe and two in the Middle East. The head office of the company is located in the Athens district of Ano Patissia.
