Titiyo

Titiyo, actually Titiyo Yambalu Felicia Jah ( born July 23, 1967) is a Swedish singer. Her father is the musician Ahmadu Jah from Sierra Leone, her mother a pianist. The Swedish artist Monica Karlsson, known as Moki Cherry, is her stepmother. The singer Neneh Cherry is her half-sister, the musician Eagle Eye Cherry is not, as is often falsely claimed her half-brother, but the son of Monika Karlsson with Don Cherry.

Her breakthrough in Sweden they had in 1989 with the song Talking to the Man in the Moon. International success came only in 2001 with the single Come Along (# 11 in the German charts ) as well as the album of the same name (# 10 in Germany ), in which participated Joakim Berg from the band Kent and Peter Svensson of the Cardigans. Published in 2004, Titiyo a best-of album, 2009, the album Hidden.

Private life

Titiyo and record producer Magnus Frykberg have a daughter born in 1992.
