Titleist

Titleist is a brand name of the Acushnet Company, headquartered in Fairhaven, Massachusetts (USA). Also to include Acushnet Footjoy (golf shoes), Pinnacle (balls of the inexpensive segment ) and Scotty Cameron ( putter ). Under the name of Titleist golf equipment such as golf balls, woods, irons or wedges is produced. In addition, equipment such as bags and gloves are sold. The name Titleist is derived from titlist ( American for title holder ).

The products marketed under Titleist racket aimed always more to better players and also played on the tours regularly. Of particular importance here take the putter by Scotty Cameron, who have reached a kind of cult status in the scene.

Of particular importance for the brand have golf balls. Since 1948 the majority of the winners played on the U.S. PGA Tour Titleist balls.
