Titus Software was a French software publisher and developer, founded in 1985 by brothers Eric and Herve Caen, disbanded in 2005. In its 20-year existence of numerous games were released for various computer systems and game consoles. History

The company was founded in 1985 by brothers Eric and Hervé Caen. The activity of the Publishers Limited first on games for the Commodore Amiga and PC before it was extended to consoles like the Nintendo 64 and handhelds like the Game Boy. The company was founded in October 1996, a joint stock company, listed on the French stock exchange. 1998 Titus began with the purchase of other companies and acquired BlueSky software and the developer of the English digital integration. 1999 Titus acquired the British publisher Virgin Interactive, which was renamed on 1 July 2003 in Avalon Interactive.

2001 Titus Interactive majority shareholder of the then ailing American publisher Interplay, without, however, completely take over him. Due to disagreements with the new majority owner left Interplay's CEO Brian Fargo, the company in January 2002 and Hervé Caen took over his position.

With the turn of the century, there was the burden that Titus had been charged with the expansion, and the company fell into financial and also legal difficulties, which led to its closure in 2005. Hervé Caen, despite the bankruptcy of Titus Interactive maintain business operations, Interplay and remained even after the end of Titus also CEO of American Publishers.
