Tkemali

Tqemali (Georgian ტყემალი; tqɛmɑlɪ ) is a very popular in Georgia hot and sour sauce, which consists of boiled or similar mirabelle plum varieties and with different spices (eg coriander, dill, garlic or hot peppers ) is prepared. As a main component can be used for both the ripe and unripe mirabelle, which then leads to a red or green sauce. Tqemali is very often served as a cold sauce with potatoes or meat dishes. Usually, you store them in the refrigerator after preparation.
