Tømmerneset

Tømmerneset is a town in the municipality Hamarøy in the Salten region in Nordland in Norway. The place is situated on the east coast of the lake Rotvatnet (also Norwegian Nervatnet or Lule called Ruohcajávri ), approximately 50 km south of the municipal center Oppeid. In Tømmerneset is the church of Tømmernes (Norwegian Tømmernes kirke ). The village lies at the junction of the road N835 (Norwegian Riksvei 835 ) with the 8 km long tunnel climbing from the E6. The Postadrese is " 8260 Innhavet ". The location is situated 51 meters above the sea.
