To the Power of Three is the first and only studio album by the progressive rock group Three, published in 1988.

Genesis

After the end of Emerson, Lake & Powell, Carl Palmer and Keith Emerson founded together with singer, bassist and guitarist Robert Berry, the band Three. With a demo the band manages with Geffen Records to be contracted. With talkin 'bout, Runaway and You Do or You Do not Berry wrote three of the eight songs. Talkin ' Bout was a remnant of Berry previous band GTR. Emerson operated On My Way Home at, which is dedicated to his deceased companions Tony Stratton - Smith. Jointly composed the musicians Lover to Lover and the multi-part Desde la Vida. Songwriter Sue Shifrin wrote the song Chains. In additon, The - Byrds - Eight Miles High Cover included on the album. The album was recorded within three months in the London Studios E -Zee Studios and Westside Studios, London.

The album reached number # 97 in the U.S. Billboard 200 and the single Talkin ' Bout reached number # 9 in the U.S. mainstream rock track charts.
