Toad (software)

Toad is the name of several graphical software tools the company Quest Software for the development and administration of different SQL database systems.

The original product was developed for the easy creation and debugging of SQL scripts and PL / SQL programs for Oracle databases. From this time the acronym comes from ( Tool for Oracle Application Developers ). Since the development of versions for database systems from other manufacturers, the term " Toad " Quest Software is no longer declared as an acronym, but is used as registered name of a product family. TOAD is now available also for databases such as IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.

Applications
