Tobadill

Tobadill is a municipality with 501 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the Landeck district in Tyrol ( Austria ). The municipality is located in the judicial district of Landeck.

Tobadill located on a narrow terrace 200 m above Pians, between Perfuchsberg and the entrance to the Paznauntal. The community represents a typical scattered settlement with a core around the church and surrounding hamlets and farms dar. Tobadill is an idyllic holiday resort and offers guests a variety of recreational opportunities.

Tobadill was first documented in the year 1275th The name is derived from tabulat ill ( "little barn "). 1949 Tobadill was separated as an independent community of Pians.

Earlier, the mining was important in the Flath area, it was siderite and pyrite degraded. Today the community is among the poorest in North Tyrol. Most residents are forced for rocking to their workplace.
