Tobago Cays

The Tobago Cays are a group of five small islands 2.2 km east of the inhabited island of Mayreau. As part of the chain of islands in the Grenadines and they belong to the state of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean. It protects the islands of Petit Bateau, Baradel, Jamesby, just southeast of the remote Petit Tobac ( Petit Tabac ) and the approximately six -acre main island of Petit Rameau by the " Horse Shoe Reef ". This large coral reef surrounding four of the islands as a horseshoe-shaped protective barrier and keeps the Atlantic swell large extent. All five islands are uninhabited, although here many so-called boatboys work due to the sailing tourists.

The Tobago Cays are a popular destination for sailing yachts and diving tourists, who find an ideal mooring and on the northern Horse Shoe Reef the beauty of Caribbean marine life in the lagoon between the islands.
