Tobias Frere-Jones
Tobias Frere -Jones ( born August 28, 1970) is an American type designer. He is the first U.S. American to the Gerrit Noordzij price for typography of the Dutch Royal Academy of Beeldende Kunsten (Royal Academy of Fine Arts) Award The Hague.
Life
The co-designed by Frere -Jones font Benton Sans, among other things as typeface of frog design and the Party Alliance 90/The Greens used. His Gotham font was used for the election campaign of Barack Obama.
Frere -Jones was a lecturer in the School of Design Rhode Iceland, the Yale School of Art, the Pratt Institute, the Royal College of Art as well as the Universidad de las Americas operates.
