Tobias Karlsson (handballer)

Tobias Karlsson ( born June 4, 1981 in Karlskrona ), called Tobbe, is a Swedish handball player. He currently plays with the SG Flensburg -Handewitt on the left back position. He is a Swedish national team.

After playing for Hästö IF and Stavanger Håndball, he moved in 2003 to Hammarby IF. As with THW Kiel in the 2006/07 season at his position prevailed acute injury problems, he was loaned on 14 November 2006 by flash transfer. Here he was originally supposed to stay until the end of the season. As the personnel situation at THW gradually relaxed, got during which Hammarby injury problems, so Karlsson prematurely returned to Hammarby on 27 December 2006.

In the summer of 2008 Karlsson joined the HSG Nordhorn, where he held the role of Daniel Kubeš in defense. Since the 2009/2010 season Karlsson plays for SG Flensburg -Handewitt. In summer 2012, he participated in the Olympic Games in London.
