Tobias Rathgeb

Tobias Rathgeb ( May 3 1982 in Ostfildern- Ruit ) is a German football player.

Career

Rathgeb came over the TV Nellingen and VfL Kirchheim in the youth department of the VfB Stuttgart, he was inducted into the amateur team in 2001. 2004 Rathgeb got a professional contract and was loaned out after only one month as VfB professional as part of a cooperation between the clubs during the FC St. Gallen in Switzerland. At St. Gallen Rathgeb was on the left back position to key players, although he plays more in the left midfield.

At the beginning of the season 2005/ 06 Rathgeb switched back to VfB Stuttgart, but only came to 19 appearances for the second team of Stuttgart in the Regionalliga Süd. During the winter break that season, so he moved to FC Hansa Rostock, which he extended to the 2nd Bundesliga, where he initially signed a dated before 30 June 2008 contract in February 2008 for a further two years.
