Tobias Welz

Tobias Welz ( born July 11, 1977) is a German football referee.

Tobias Welz is an arbitrator for the SpVgg Nassau Wiesbaden since 1999 DFB referee. Since 2004 he is employed as a referee in the 2nd Bundesliga. He is also come as Assistant Referee in the Bundesliga for use. From the 2010/11 season Welz was used in the Bundesliga.

His debut in the Bundesliga he celebrated on August 28, 2010 the game of the 1st FC Nuremberg against SC Freiburg.

Welz is used in addition to Christian Dingert since 2013 as a FIFA referee. Both moved by Knut Kircher and for Michael Weiner, who withdrew voluntarily as a FIFA referee.

His main job is a police officer in the Hessian police and lives in Wiesbaden. In his youth he played among others at SC Klarenthal 1968 and FV Biebrich 02
