Tobias Gerald Albert Lieven Flood ( born August 8, 1985 in Frimley, Surrey ) is an English rugby union player who has been used for the youth on the position of the connecting Halbs. He is active for the English rugby union team, where he plays mostly on the position of the inner three- quarter, as Jonny Wilkinson claims the connector position for itself.

He grew up in Morpeth, in the north- east of England, on. During school he was accepted to the Academy of Falcons and collected as early experience at the highest level. He finished his studies at Northumbria University, where he could only rarely actively studying in his final year, he had an international breakthrough in the club and in the national team.

In 2006 he was first used for England as his team lost against Argentina. Coach Brian Ashton then nominated him for the Six Nations 2007. In this tournament, he showed some good performances and became a regular player. In the 2007 World Cup, he managed with the English team reach the finals. There, one had to be beaten just under the South Africans. For the Six Nations 2008, he was re-nominated and scored in the first two games against Wales and Italy each attempt.

At the end of the 2007/ 08 season of the Guinness Premiership, he left the Falcons and joined the Leicester Tigers. He was injured in the semi-finals of the Heineken Cup and falls for six months out.

His grandfather was the German actor Albert Lieven.
