Toby Jones

Toby Jones ( born September 7, 1967 in Oxford, England ) is a British actor.

Life and achievements

Toby Jones is the son of actor Freddie Jones. He played at Abingdon School in several theater productions. His first film role in 1992 on the side of Tilda Swinton in the film drama Orlando to Virginia Woolf. Jones played in 2004 to learn to fly in your dreams are on the side of Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet. In the biopic Infamous - In the footsteps of Truman Capote in 2006 he played the title role.

Jones joined in 2001 at London's Wyndham 's Theatre in the comedy The Play What I Wrote on, for which he was awarded in 2002 with a Laurence Olivier Award. In 2003, he starred in the play on Broadway. In 2005 he participated in a radio play version of the novel Oblomov by Ivan Goncharov, which was produced by BBC Radio 4. In the Harry Potter films, he was the voice of Dobby, the house elf. He embodies Claudius Templesmith in The Hunger Games - The Hunger Games and the sequel The Hunger Games - Catching Fire. In 2013 the oncoming docudrama The Girl Jones will be seen in the role of film director Alfred Hitchcock.

Jones has two daughters.
