Today (Singapore newspaper)

Today is a free Singaporean English-language newspaper that is printed in tabloid format. It is published by the MediaCorp Group State-owned. Its circulation is about 300,000 copies.

The first issue was published on 10 November 2000 as a rival newspaper to Streats, which was distributed by Singapore Press Holdings ( SPH) is also free. Until 27 April 2002, the newspaper was printed only on weekdays, up to the Weekend Today came out one Sunday evening weekly edition.

In 2004, the Streats and Today were merged, since SPH and MediaCorp began to cooperate television, and complimentary newspapers in the business areas.
