Todd County (Minnesota)

Geography

The County is located just west of the geographical center of Minnesota. It has an area of ​​2536 square kilometers, of which 97 square kilometers are water surface.

History

The Todd County was formed on February 20, 1855 from portions of Cass County. It is named after John Blair Smith Todd (1814-1872), a general of the U.S. Army and later a member of Congress.
