Todd Fedoruk

Todd Fedoruk ( born February 13, 1979 in Redwater, Alberta ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player and current coach, who during his active career, among other things for the Philadelphia Flyers, Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, Phoenix Coyotes and Tampa Bay Lightning was active in the National Hockey League.

Career

In his youth he played between 1995 and 1997 at the Kelowna Rockets, between 1997 and 1999 at the Regina Pats and 1999 at the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League. He was drawn by the Philadelphia Flyers in the seventh round of NHL Entry Draft 164th place in 1997. From 1999 he played at the Trenton Titans in the East Coast Hockey League, a unterklassigen American professional league. In the same year he came with the Philadelphia Phantoms, the farm team of the Philadelphia Flyers in the American Hockey League action. From 2000 until 2005 he commuted between the Flyers and their farm team, the Phantoms, back and forth. Since he never had a regular place safe with the Flyers, he decided before the 2005/06 season for a change to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.

In November 2006 he was transferred back to the Philadelphia Flyers. To be known for use as Enforcer, it came during the 2006/07 season to two incidents during fights. At the beginning of the season he retired several facial injuries in a fist fight against Derek Boogaard to that were fixed by inserting a titanium plate. In summer 2007, he signed a contract with the Dallas Stars.
