Todd Hamilton

William Todd Hamilton ( born October 18, 1965 in Galesburg, Illinois) is an American professional golfer on the PGA TOUR, which belongs to the group of Major winner.

In 1987 he was professional golfer, but could not qualify for the PGA TOUR, and turned to the Asian tournament Done. Hamilton played on the Asian Tour and in particular on the Japan Golf Tour, which he left after eleven tournament wins and a career prize money of more than 630 million yen as the most successful non-Japanese.

Only at the age of 38 years and in the eighth attempt, he was able to get eligible to play for the PGA TOUR via the Q- School in the fall of 2003. In March 2004, Hamilton won his first tournament, the highly doped Honda Classic and four months later he achieved his great litter at the Open Championship at Royal Troon. He defeated Ernie Els after a four -hole playoff.
