Tofta Church, Gotland

The Church of Tofta (Swedish: Tofta kyrka ) is a country church on the Swedish island of Gotland. It belongs to the parish (Swedish församling ) Tofta Eskelhem in the diocese of Visby.

Location

The church is located in the west of Gotland Tofta Småort east of the road 140 from Visby to Klintehamn. It is located 15 km south of Visby, 15 km north of Klintehamn and 17 km west of Roma.

Church building

Equipment

When fishing village Gnisvärd is a 1839 stone-built simple chapel, with a rectangular plan. It replaced a wooden chapel. Between this fishing village and the church are the ship -setting in Gnisvärd.
