Tokyo Motor Show

The Tokyo Motor Show is an important motor show in Japan.

The fair takes place every one to two years, starting with the year 1954 in Hibiya Park in Tokyo's Chiyoda ward. From 1989 to 2009, she did not find in Tokyo, but at the fairgrounds at Makuhari Messe in Chiba instead. 2011, however, she returned to Tokyo on the fairgrounds from Tokyo Big Sight.

At the debut of 254 exhibitors presented the 547,000 visitors a total of 267 vehicles. In 2005 239 exhibitors presented the 1.5121 million visitors a total of 612 vehicles. The exhibition area has increased almost tenfold in 50 years.
