Tola (Hebrew: תּוֹלָע ) is one of the judges of Israel, the (10,1 EU Ri) are mentioned in the Book of Judges. Tola was the successor to Abimelech. He was the son and grandson of Dodo PUWAS of the tribe of Issachar. He lived in Shamir in mount Ephraim, where he was buried after his death. He judged Israel for 23 years. Of all the biblical Judges are Tola, at least the Bible tells us about that. The Book of Judges does not mention any of his deeds. To learn is simply that Tola was succeeded by Jair from Gilead.
