Tolazoline is a heterocyclic chemical compound that belongs to the group of the imidazole or imidazoline derivatives. The substance is used as a drug, is there to the α2 -adrenoceptor antagonists or to the sympatholytic. At the same time the effect of xylazine and other α2 - agonists is canceled. Tolazoline is used intravenously in the treatment of circulatory disorders ( vasodilator, such as the retina and in the Eisenmenger reaction) and in veterinary medicine.
