Tolmides

Tolmides ( Τολμίδης ), son of Tolmaios, an Athenian strategist in the 5th century BC was He was a radical democratic supporters of Pericles led 456/54 BC a fleet company against the Peloponnesian League and fought 455/54 in Boeotia. 447 BC he led cleruchs from Athens to the islands of Euboea and Naxos.
