Tom Arden

Tom Arden (* 1961 in Mount Gambier, Australia; bourgeois David Rain) is an Australian fantasy writer.

Life

His first novel Moon Escape wrote the first seven years of Arden inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson's novel Treasure Island. He played as a teenager in pop and punk bands and worked as a disc jockey at a radio station. He then studied at the University of Adelaide English literature. At Queen's University in Belfast he held from 1990 to 1998 lectures for English with a focus on literature of the 18th and 19th centuries. His penchant for literature and history of the 18th and 19th century, inspired him to the world of his novels. Since 1998 he is a freelance writer.

His biggest success so far was able to record Tom Arden with his ten-volume fantasy cycle ( The Circle of Orokon, 1997-2003). In 2002 he released his novel Shadow Black.
