Career

Boardman began his motorsport career in 1997 in the autocross, in which he remained active until 1999. 1999 Boardman occurred also in the T Cars and became champion. In 2000 he started in the British Saloon Cup, finishing in 13th place overall. In 2001 Boardman in the BTCC. He, he raced in the Production class. His first season he finished with a third place on the eleventh championship course. 2012 Boardman returns back to the World Touring Car Championship. He drives a SEAT León of Special Tuning Racing. Since the season opener SEAT engines were not sufficiently available, he went first to the second event in the World Cup one. Since also in this not yet sufficiently current SEAT engines were available, Boardman was an older diesel engine. After the second race weekend was a 20th place his best result.
