Tom Coughlin

Thomas Richard " Tom" Coughlin ( born August 31, 1946 in Waterloo, New York) is an American professional American football coach. Since 2004 he has been head coach of the New York Giants in the professional league NFL, with whom he was the Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI win each against the New England Patriots. Coughlin was the first head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, who joined in 1995 as an expansion team of the NFL.

Coaching career

Early stations

After Coughlin had played at Syracuse University successfully as a wide receiver, he began his coaching career in 1970 as head coach at the Rochester Institute of Technology. After several years as an assistant coach at Syracuse and Boston College, he joined in 1984 as the first receiver Wide Coach to the pros in the NFL.
