Tom Lehman

Thomas Edward Lehman ( born March 7, 1959 in Austin, Minnesota) is an American professional golfer on the PGA TOUR. It belongs to the group of Major winner and was also a week at the top of the world rankings.

Career

Lehman was after attending the University of Minnesota in 1982 professional golfer. From 1983 to 1985 he played with little success on the PGA TOUR and had to dodge the following six seasons on smaller tournament series in Asia, South Africa and the second- strung American Ben Hogan Tour. In 1991, he won the money list the last tour and qualified for the PGA TOUR, the continuously listened Lehman since 1992.

He had his career high point in 1996 with the victory at the Open Championship. Among his other four victories on the PGA TOUR, there are prominent titles, such as the Tour Championship, the Memorial Tournament and the Colonial National Invitational.

Worldwide Lehman has not retracted a total of 28 tournament victories, he was three times in the Ryder Cup and the Presidents Cup team of the United States and represented his country twice in the Dunhill Cup, and once in the World Cup. In 2006 he was captain (non -playing captain ) of the U.S. team at the Ryder Cup.

Since March 2009, Lehman is eligible to play on the Champions Tour and was victorious in his first appearance in April 2009. In the years 2011 and 2012 he won the Charles Schwab Cup and 2011 the money list the Champions Tour.

Tom Lehman is married to his wife Melissa since 1990. The two have four children and live in Scottsdale, Arizona.
